It was far from perfect, but we walked away very happy from our first public appearance as RUDNICK/LANDIS -
Our coaches were happy and excited for us, people cheered and clapped and I somehow managed to smile from start to finish.
Now it's back to the drawing board for a Silver technical program for competition in March and April.
We must learn a lot before then: an Axel lift and/or Lutz lift, a Death Spiral and/or a Pivot Spiral and we need to strengthen our fundamentals.
I'm feeling excited and looking forward to the hard work ahead.
Thank you coaches: Chris Anders and Berkley Villard.
And of course Hank Landis......I couldn't do it without you!!

I Have Been Slacking ....
My blog posts are getting erratic. I have been having some issues with iMovie and my computer storage and memory and so getting my videos to the blog have been few and far between lately.
Still skating 4-5 days a week. Working on mostly pairs with Hank but I got on the ice at 6:00 am today to ice dance with my other partner (how lucky am I?) Mike.
We are still on the Dutch Waltz -
As you can see we are not on the tempo of the music, but it was fun to get out there and give it a try today .... 6:00 is BRUTAL for me!
