Went To A FS Session Today

Usually I save my FS sessions for my lessons, but today I couldn't get moving early enough to hit the ice during pubic.  Our 2:15 session is pretty quiet until the last 15 minutes.  I worked on everything I had strength for today.  Pretty frustrating skating at this level amid these girls who can all do doubles.

    Hey now, no being down on yourself!! You've come a long way and will continue to grow as a skater. These kids don't know how much skating costs, or insurance, or a car payment, or how to shop for groceries (I prefer shoes!). I know you're disappointed about Sectionals, your tests and Adult Nationals, but just think how prepared you'll be for next year!! And this gives you plenty of time to find the perfect skating dress! Plus, maybe at next year's Nationals I'll be there, we can meet face-to-face and I can tell you all about working on "Ragtime" :)

      I'm not down I'm just frustrated... Unfortunately I already have my dress and tossies for this year.... Looking forward to next year .. Thanks

    Great to see you back on the ice Diane. You seem to be just as hard on yourself as I am, so I know that saying your skating actually doesn't look as bad as it feels to you, is not helpful right now. I know it's frustrating right now. But I also know that you'll be working very hard to catch up and improve and I'm looking forward to those videos.
